A gorgeous melding of stone fruits and citrus with a light dusting of spice and a tantalising touch of leesy creaminess and toasty oak – in short, this is a wine of some class. Yering Station taps into why single vineyards can so often thrill and excite. Y28 exudes real character and concentration, beginning with aromas of bright lemon citrus and pith, Meyer lemon, apple, white peach and spice. Eight months on lees has introduced extra layers of interest, flavours that flow beautifully on a fine-textured palate delivered on a nicely honed bright acid drive. A wine to take your time over.
