This is a delightful Sangiovese that shows how this variety can work admirably in the Yarra Valley. Typical cherry and slightly savoury notes on the nose point to its energy and vibrancy. The palate is beautifully structured with fine tannins and light oak influence, creating a velvety smooth composition. Spicy red fruits with a savoury finish sit with the slightly dusty oak for balance. Excellent current drinking wine that will handle a few more years.
