atmata Organic Sauvignon Blanc 2021

This Sauvignon Blanc is the latest addition to atmata’s organic, vegan, minimal intervention and very affordable range. Atmata means ‘essence from nature’ and that is certainly reflected here in the purity of fruit. It’s a more restrained example of sauvignon blanc than it’s Kiwi cousins, showing crunchy green apples, lemon and lime wedges and just-ripe passionfruit. A subtle herbaceous character hints at lemongrass, and mint. Ultra refreshing, light-bodied and zesty; the kind of wine you want to sip on a summer afternoon by itself. Or pair it with pan-fried salt and pepper squid as you watch the sunset.
