This Adelaide Hills Sangiovese seems to tick all the varietal boxes and deliver a pleasurable drinking experience year after year! The 2021 takes it a step further. Lifted cherries, roasted raspberries, blood plum, charred herbs, oregano underpinned by vanillary cedar charr. The medium-bodied palate boasts textbook Sangiove cherry flesh acidity and powdery tannins. Crunchy red fruits and alpine herbs linger. Well done, team Barrigan!
