Plucked mulberries straight from the tree, plum skin and slivers of raspberry roll up. A posy of purple flowers and some heady notes of bramble and sage leaf. Intensely aromatic, this is immediately inviting and then continues to deliver what promised with the added boost of nigella and poppy seed spice. Some satisfying middle placate weight with just a subtle hint of savoury kalamata olive right on the finish. This is an ideal pepperoni pizza wine or would make anything with chorizo in the recipe a kind partner. Drink now and will cellar well for another 3-5 years.
