Nautilus Cuvée Marlborough Brut NV

This is a Pinot-dominant blend with Chardonnay from the Marlborough region. The colour is a nice pale straw, and while there is a slightly creamy mousse, a fine acidity brings definition through the palate. It’s quite an elegant wine, finely structured with a nutty, fresh, bready character on the nose that digs deep into the palate, delivering more complexities with a cracked yeast biscuity character and a fine lingering acidity. With three years on lees, it has picked up a degree of complexity but still retains its vibrant freshness.
