This is a most impressive Cabernet from what was a very good season in McLaren Vale. The aromas are black currant with a little subtle bay leaf-like character. And the palate, which is so seamlessly integrated with fine-grained tannins and subtle oak use, delivers with loads of black fruits, subtle plum, and a slightly toasty oak influence. Once again, perfectly integrated and seamlessly structured. It’s a classy wine made with no additional preservatives from organically grown fruit.
