Crime scene red hue, the nose is redolent of plums, cassis, aniseed and red jellybeans. The texture is supple and soft, the wine delicious – an altogether too easy to drink style. The palate moves to coffee beans, cherries and a hint of strawberries supported by fine acidity and silky tannins. There is a very long and lingering finish to enjoy any time over the next four to eight years.
