Watkins Langhorne Creek Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Share

The back label notes this 4-year-old is “for the Cabernet loyalists.” You could also add that it is for those who love Langhorne Creek’s cuddly warmth and honesty of Cabernet flavour. It’s a wine that beautifully represents its region and its noteworthy deep, rich, alluvial sandy loam soils. Very much in a traditional Langhorne style – ripe and generous in dark berries, roasted spices with clove and cassia bark, liquorice and overtones of earth. Starting to show some aged leather characters on the palate, but Cabernet tannins keep everything looking pretty smart.
