Picardy Pinot Noir 2020

There is a purity of expression here that somehow also reveals layers of complexity, all expertly harnessed by some deft winemaking. At the time of tasting this was still a very tightly held pinot, but you can see its potential. Only a small amount of whole bunch fermentation but there is still superb structure and palate poise. Light colour but immensely powerful with firm chalky tannins harmoniously working with oak to drive the palate.
