The beautiful fruit qualities of this variety are on full display here. Deep purpley-red colours, and an aroma that is plummy and with that more distinctive blueberry character adding complexity. It’s more medium to full-bodied, but is loaded with plump red fruits and a spicy complexity which captures the variety so well. There’s a brightness and energy here, which you do get with the best Malbecs, and this is a terrific wine.
