A most impressive Shiraz from Clarendon in the Adelaide Hills. Combines power and concentration with a degree of refined elegance. Aromas of initial bright red fruit and a sprinkle of pepper. The palate is deep and richly textured with dark spicy plummy fruit flavours supported by firm tannins. It was matured for 24 months in aged American oak hogsheads. As it breathes, notes of dark prune and licorice emerge. Will handle cellaring.
