Two Tonne Tasmania EST Pinot Noir 2024

Share

A wine of freshness, lift, and vibrant fruit. The aromas are open and expressive – macerated strawberry, subtly earthy rhubarb, dark cherry, and raspberry compote lead the way, with a swirl unlocking violet and mashed blueberry. A glimmer of nutmeg sits beneath, along with a distinct mineral note that emerges with air. It’s bright and fruit-forward, with earth and spice providing depth and contrast. The palate is similarly lifted and vibrant. Blueberry and mulberry take the lead, followed by raspberry and dark cherry, with rhubarb, subtle earth, and nutmeg playing a supportive role. The tannins are fine-boned and chalky, laced with a touch of mocha, offering ample frame alongside a surge of refreshing acidity. Freshness abounds. A lovely, energetic wine.
