Sidewood Abel Pinot Noir 2022

Share

One of three single clone Pinot Noir variations that Sidewood makes a special effort with – and down the rabbit hole we go. The Abel clone has a rollicking story behind its arrival in the Antipodes, matched by the deliciousness of the wine itself. The nose entices with classic cherry – fruit, skin and pip – with suggestions of darker berries as well in the palate, ripe yet lively and a touch of stalk for good measure. A neatly rounded and complete wine, balanced intricately, willing you to drink that second glass just to make sure you haven’t missed anything in its floating elegance.
